EagleNXT Named 'Crop Monitoring Solution of the Year' at AgTech Breakthrough Awards

AgEagle Aerial Systems, operating as EagleNXT (NYSE: UAVS), received industry recognition for MicaSense crop-monitoring technology, underscoring its high-resolution aerial intelligence, broad drone integration and presence across agricultural and commercial markets.

AgEagle Aerial Systems, Inc., doing business as EagleNXT, was named Crop Monitoring Solution of the Year at the annual AgTech Breakthrough Awards on Aug. 20, 2026. The award recognizes the company’s MicaSense products, which use UAV-based RGB and multispectral imaging to deliver continuous, high-resolution crop observations throughout the growing season. The technology is designed to detect crop stress, disease, nutrient imbalance and environmental variability at both field and plant level. EagleNXT says its approach provides detailed, repeatable and scalable intelligence compared with manual scouting and low-resolution satellite imagery. CEO Bill Irby said the recognition validates MicaSense’s impact across agriculture and supports earlier identification of crop stress and more informed decisions. The AgTech Breakthrough Awards assess agricultural and food technology categories including Internet-of-Things and Artificial Intelligence-based agricultural technologies, farm management, indoor farming, food quality and data analytics. The program is part of Tech Breakthrough, a market intelligence and recognition platform focused on global technology innovation and leadership. Information is available at AgTechBreakthrough.com. For investors, the award offers external recognition of MicaSense in precision agriculture but does not establish financial performance or future demand. EagleNXT’s broader portfolio includes high-performance drones, advanced sensors and intelligent software for defense, public safety, agriculture, infrastructure and environmental monitoring customers worldwide. The company reports more than one million flights globally. Its drone systems have received FAA approvals for Operations Over People (OOP) and Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS), EASA C2 certification in Europe, and inclusion on the U.S. Department of Defense’s Blue UAS list. EagleNXT sensors are integrated on more than 150 drone models and used in more than 100 research publications worldwide. The company also develops counter-UAS and optical sensor solutions for defense, government and commercial applications.
