Narravero Named a Market Shaper in the 2026 Gartner® Emerging Market Quadrant for Digital Product Passport
Narravero’s recognition highlights its interoperable Digital Product Passport platform, AI-supported data workflows and customer adoption, while unfinished standards, regulatory uncertainty and Gartner’s non-endorsement disclaimer remain important considerations for investors.
Narravero said Aug. 19, 2026, that Gartner recognized it as a Market Shaper in the “Emerging Market Quadrant for Digital Product Passport—Established Vendors,” published July 6. The company is positioned in the quadrant’s top-right corner. Gartner said Market Shapers “disrupt the reliance on siloed compliance platforms by embedding native interoperability and open global data standards directly into their core architectures.” The recognition may support Narravero’s positioning as European Union Digital Product Passport deadlines approach and market focus potentially shifts from compliance toward strategic product-data infrastructure. Narravero’s platform supports global data standards, including GS1 Digital Link, while remaining open to other standards and data environments. It connects information from enterprise resource planning, product information management and other systems into DPP-ready formats. The market remains under development. Foundational data and architecture standards are not finalized, European standardization bodies continue their work, and regulatory uncertainty persists. Narravero says its AI tools reduce implementation and scaling friction through data capture, document-based extraction, semantic structuring and conversion into DPP-ready formats. The company emphasizes reduced manual effort in data collection, structuring and DPP creation rather than broad generic AI claims. CEO Thomas L. Rödding said DPPs are moving beyond compliance toward infrastructure supporting differentiation, sustainability communication and trusted customer engagement. Narravero aims to make that infrastructure scalable through AI-supported data processing. More than 200 companies across 12 industries use Narravero, including BONPRIX, STRAUB MARBERT and COR. The company says customers use DPPs across compliance, operations and customer experience, while AI agents are expected to increasingly manage and act on product data. Rödding also serves as Co-Chair of CEN-CENELEC JTC 24, which helps shape European DPP standards. Gartner said its research represents the opinions of its research organization, does not constitute fact and does not endorse vendors, products or services. It advises users not to select vendors solely by ratings and disclaims warranties. The report was authored by Kevin Lawrence, Marta Muñoz and Rajan Saini.
